The game does have some issues with the draw distance, where the texture quality drops significantly in the distance. Hunting Simulator 2 is a very beautiful game to look at and walking through the environments was almost a joy on its own. The locations you get to visit in the game are absolutely stunning, especially on PC with all settings on max. There’s a total of 33 animal species to hunt, from ducks and pheasants to bears, elks and even the mighty bison and moose. Each of these regions have their own distinctive look and feel and offer different kind of animals to hunt. There’s the mountainous region of Colorado, the desert landscapes of Texas and the swamps and woods of Eastern Europe.
#HUNTING SIMULATOR 2 TROPHY ANIMALS HOW TO#
After a short tutorial in which you receive a brief overview on how to hunt, you’re free to explore six zones in three different locations. In Hunting Simulator 2, you can play as a male or female hunter who goes into the wild to hunt various wildlife. So without further ado, let’s have a look at this hunting simulator. This is a videogame after all, that tries to emulate an authentic experience of an activity many people engage in. But with that in mind, I wanted to look at Hunting Simulator 2 with an unbiased mind. But killing those beautiful creatures just for fun, you know, paying thousand of dollars so you can kill a rhino and pose with your “trophy” for a picture, that is just morally wrong to me. I of course understand that there are instances where hunting is necessary, for meat for example, and even having those skills might be useful. I think it is wrong to kill animals just for your pleasure.

First of all, I would like to state that I’m against hunting animals for sport.
